MÆNA is a yearly magazine about design in Iceland, published by the department of Design and Architecture in the Iceland Academy of the Arts, designed by third year students in the Graphic Design department. Each year has its own theme, and for the 2016 issue MÆNA dealt with movement. Designers, academics and students wrote articles on subjects ranging from thoughts on developments in the Icelandic wool industry to the fluidity of materials. The team consisted of 14 students in their third year of study, editors Bryndís Björgvins & Lóa Auðunsdóttir, and art director Guðmundur Úlfarsson. The magazine was exhibited at the Hönnunar Mars design festival in Reykjavík, 2016.

These icons and graphics were made by me for MÆNA 07, displayed in the magazine as illustrations and icons for each article, as well as printed stickers that came with the magazine.
